Liqui Cal/Mag ingredients

Each softgel contains 333mg calcium.

A key ingredient for bone health
99% of our body's calcium is channelled into forming strong bones and teeth. Yet we often do not consume enough calcium in our daily diet.

As we age, our bones lose density and become more brittle, increasing the chances of osteoporosis. Having sufficient supply of calcium helps to keep our bones strong and healthy.

Supports mobility and muscle functions
Regular calcium supplementation helps to increase bone density. Calcium may also help with muscular functions such as vascular contraction and vasodilation – the contraction and widening of blood vessels, which can regulate blood flow to muscles.

Each softgel contains 133mg magnesium.

Facilitates mineral absorption for bone building1
Magnesium helps our body to absorb important minerals for bone building easily, such as calcium, vitamin D and phosphorous.

Helps relieve muscle tension and reduce lethargy2
Magnesium aids in relieving muscle tension and eases lethargy through encouraging energy production.

Promotes restful sleep3
Magnesium promotes relaxation and facilitates sleep. Regular supplementation of magnesium has been associated with significant improvement in insomnia symptoms.

Boron and Vitamin D

Both boron and vitamin D encourage healthy bone growth. Vitamin D enhances calcium absorption while boron supports the proper metabolism of calcium and magnesium.

As a dietary supplement,

Take 1 to 2 softgels daily.

9 years old and above: Take 1 softgel daily.
Squeeze out the softgel content and consider mixing with milk for easier consumption.

Take after food.

Balanced ratio of calcium : magnesium

A balanced calcium/magnesium intake ratio can offer better absorption of both minerals. Magnesium intake can also complement bone development.4,5

Liqui Cal/Mag is formulated with a calcium to magnesium ratio of 2.5:1. Studies have demonstrated that a 2:1 to 3:1 ratio of calcium to magnesium is generally accepted as well-balanced.5,6

Unique TriCal liquid formula

The calcium in Liqui Cal/Mag is obtained from three different calcium compounds, which helps to optimise potency. One of the compounds used – calcium citrate, allows for better absorption while being gentler to the stomach.7

Can pregnant women take Liqui Cal/Mag?

Yes, pregnant women usually have a higher calcium requirement in order to develop the bones of the growing foetus. We recommend pregnant and lactating mothers to take Liqui Cal/Mag to prevent leeching from mother’s bones and produce quality milk for the baby.

As each pregnancy condition is unique, we recommend pregnant women to consult their doctor before consuming any health supplements.
