Product Description 
Borage Seed Oil and Black Currant Seed Oil are rich and natural sources of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA). Compared to the Evening Primrose Oil, both Borage Seed Oil and Black Currant Seed Oil contain a much higher concentration of GLA.
Essentially, GLA is an omega-6 polyunsaturated fat that must be obtained from dietary sources as our bodies are unable to manufacture them on their own. GLA, when converted into Prostaglandin E1, helps relieve discomfort during women’s monthly cycles. It also helps you in the maintenance of good circulatory health*.
Proven to be an excellent GLA source, Avance's Black Currant Seed Oil contains 19% GLA whereas Borage Seed Oil contains 20-27% GLA – a much higher concentration than what you get from Evening Primrose Oil (about 8%-10% GLA). Therefore, Borage Seed Oil and Black Currant Seed Oil allow us to consume fewer capsules to achieve the required dosage, making them the most economical sources of GLA.
